Description: The AMRAD is a mobile armored turret-mounted weapon system designed to provide protection for armored military units and installations against airborne threats such as aircraft and missiles. The AMRAD comprises a 76mm 62 calibers gun, a TV sensor and two radars for surveillance (S-band) and tracking (Ka-band). The 76mm gun fires pre fragmented proximity fuse projectiles against airborne threats and piercing ammunition against armored vehicles.

The AMRAD is currently in service in the Italian Army installed on the Leopard 1 chassis.
