The resulting HAWK-AMRAAM air defense system supports multiple simultaneous engagements against a wide variety of threats.

The HAWK-AMRAAM consists of HAWK and AMRAAM missiles on universal launchers, a fire direction center, the AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radar and the HAWK AN/MPQ-61 high power illuminator for target tracking and illumination.
