Description:
The Jernas area air defense system is based on the proven Rapier FSC designed to engage air threats. It consists of a launcher with 8 Rapier Mk2 missiles and an electro-optical tracker, a 3D surveillance radar and a high resolution radar to defeat small stealthy target in all environments. The 3 items may be towed by ground vehicles or airlifted by helicopters.
The Jernas air defense system can be reloaded easily and quickly. It is exceptionally suitable against saturation attacks.
