Description: Krug, SA-4 Ganef Western designation, is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system capable of countering hostile airborne threats flying at medium and high altitude. The Krug launchers are mounted on tracked chassis thus providing some degree of mobility. 9M8 missiles used on this missile system have a maximum range of 55 km against targets at altitudes of up to 27,000 meters. Krug was deployed by the Soviet Union in support of field forces.
