Description:
The Patriot PAC-3 is an upgraded model from baseline Patriot air defense system. The latest variant of Patriot air defense system features improved MPQ-53 radar set, MSQ-104 Engagement Control Station, Patriot PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles.
The Patriot PAC-3 missiles are intended against high-performance ballistic missiles in clutter conditions. PAC-2 missiles will counter aircraft, cruise missile and ballistic missiles in heavy countermeasures environments. Patriot PAC-3 system has been developed to operate in multiple engagement scenarios launching multiple separate Patriot missiles simultaneously.
