Description:
The Rapier FSC was developed to provide a low level air defense capability over the battlefield. It consists of a launcher with 8 missiles and an electro-optical tracker.
The United Kingdom has purchased 71 Rapier systems to protect the RAF airfields and Royal Army units. Rapier B1X is an upgraded model of the baseline Rapier B1.
