Description:
R-4, also known as the AA-5 Ash, was developed by the Soviet Union as an early medium range air-to-air missile for the Tu-128 air defense fighter/interceptor aircraft. As many other Soviet missiles R-4 was available equipped with a semi-active radar or infrared seeker.
