Description: The AN/ALQ-161 is a flexible, re-programmable defensive Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) system utilized on the United States Air Force (USAF) B-1B Lancer long range bomber. ALQ-161 jams radar threats and diverts incoming missiles from the aircraft's rear sector launching chaff and flare. This protection system outstands by its ability to evolve, even in-flight, to effectively counter new threats.
