Description: The AN/ALQ-165 ASPJ self-protection system was developed to protect tactical fighters. ASPJ has a modular and compact design that makes possible to install internally or externally (pod-mounted).

ASPJ was combat-proven over the Balkans and the Middle East. ASPJ is capable of counter anti-aircraft missiles. It works sorting, identifying and jamming the incoming missile/s.

The ALQ-165 system has been integrated for the F-18C/D, AV-8B, F-16 and F-14D aircraft. Aircraft from the United States, Switzerland, Finland and South Korea are equipped with this device.
