Description: The AN/ALQ-187 is a self-protect electronic countermeasures system. It is fully automatic with internally housed radar warning and chaff/flare systems. It detects and defends the aircraft from surface-to-air missiles, anti-aircraft artillery and air-to-air missiles.

The ALQ-187 is mounted internally. It is the only fully integrated jammer on the F-16 and can be adapted on other aircraft.
