Description: The AN/ALQ-217 Electronic Support Measures system will passively detect ground based and airborne radar transmitters and precisely locate and identify them. The AN/ALQ-217 will be integrated in the US Navy E-2C Hawkeye 2000 airborne early warning aircraft.

In September 2006, Lockheed Martin was awarded a US Navy's $10 million contract for delivery of one AN/ALQ-217A electronic support measures hot bench by March 2009.
