Description: The BO2D is a towed decoy for fighter aircraft protection against active and semi-active RF guided missiles even in supersonic flight conditions. It is a broad-band repeater pyrotechnically ejected from a chaff/flare dispenser powered by its built-in battery and able to communicate with the aircraft through the tow line. The BO2D RF transmission can be switched on/off with different modes available according to the threat nature. After use the tow-line is cut.

The BO2D is housed in standard 55mm dispenser magazines and covers the H, I, and J bands.
