Description: The EWS39 is a modular integrated Electronic Warfare system designed for the JAS-39 Gripen fighter aircraft. This system is easily upgradeable adapting itself to the ever changing EW environment thanks to its modularity.

The EWS consists of 5 line replaceable units, 4 wing tip units, and an electronic warfare central unit. The system current coverage is from E to J band, but may be increased. The whole system is also prepared to handle decoys, dispensers, external jamming pods or internal jammers.

The EWS39 electronic warfare system enables the JAS-39 Gripen aircraft to carry out escort jamming missions as well as self-protection.
