Description: The BAE Systems Information & Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS) JSF EW is a low cost, lightweight, electronic warfare suite designed for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) supersonic, stealth, attack aircraft. The system provides situational awareness and self-protection through next generation countermeasures, monitoring, analysis and threat identification.

BAE Systems delivered the first 185-pound JSF EW system to Lockheed-Martin for testing in August 2004. Evaluation onboard the Lockheed-Martin's Cooperative Avionics Testbed (CATB) began in 2005.
