Description: The Spectra is an integrated electronic warfare system designed to provide the Rafale multi-role fighter with a tactical advantage in every situation. It offers high sensitivity detection and multiple threat capability through multi-spectral sensors. Identification, location, jamming, and decoys launch is also provided by the Spectra system against electromagnetic, infrared and laser threats.

The Spectra electronic warfare system covers air-to-air and air-to-surface mission profiles providing unprecedented situational awareness within the French Air Force aircraft. It is a major contributor to the Rafale's low-observability concept and achieved operational capability onboard the French Navy Rafale M in 2002.
