Description: The Spirale is the integrated self-protection system of the Mirage 2000 aircraft series. It is internally mounted and interconnected to other protection systems such as DDM warning system and Eclair-M decoy dispenser. The Spirale features completely integrated to the Mirage 2000 Electronic Warfare suite, manual or automatic activation, large range of decoy types and fully programmable.

The Spirale ammunition consists of 16 IR cartridges and 112 chaff packs. It operates in automatic, semi-automatic, manual, survival and navigation modes. The Spirale self-protection system is in service in France and 5 other countries operating the Mirage 2000 aircraft.
