Description: The Advanced Airborne Reconnaissance System (AARS) is an aircraft-mounted, completely digital, intelligence gathering system that provides multiple fields of view in a single package intended for reconnaissance missions. It is fully compatible with many US and NATO reconnaissance ground interpretation systems.

The AARS provides near real time imagery, ground exploitation, moving target indication and intelligence dissemination capabilities. It generates visual and infrared imaging in manual or autonomous operation modes.

The AARS sensor package was selected via US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) by the Royal Air Force of Oman for integration into its Block 50 F-16C/D aircraft.
