Description: The AAR-58 warning system was developed by Raytheon and BAe Systems to provide multiple missile attack awareness. This IR-based system detects continuously and passively incoming missiles. It is compatible with laser-based IR countermeasures. The AAR-58 warning system is reliable and is not confused by flares or multiple objects.

The AAR-58 has been designed to be installed virtually on any existing aircraft. Only 2 AN/AAR-58 systems are required per aircraft to provide 360-degree coverage.
