Description: The DDM is a high precision totally passive missile detector posing no electromagnetic incompatibility. It has been designed for French Mirage 2000 and Rafale aircraft, but is suitable for many aircraft types.

The DDM detects the IR signature of incoming missiles tracking them. It provides 360� coverage warning for both air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles. On the Mirage 2000 aircraft the DDMs are integrated on external wing station launchers, while on the Rafale they are mounted on the top of the fin.
