Description: The RDY-2 radar system has been designed to provide a wide variety of capabilities required well into the 21st century to multi-role Mirage 2000-5 aircraft. It features air-to-air and air-to-surface modes with increased detection range and multi-target capability which enable full potential Mica missiles usage. In addition, the RDY-2 radar has integrated electronic counter countermeasures (ECCM) to keep its capabilities in heavy countermeasures environments.

The RDY-2 radar can track up to 24 targets engaging 4 of them. It achieved operational capability with the French Air Force in 1999.
