Description: The Ataka, AT-9 Whirlwind NATO-codename, is a long range anti-tank missile designed to be installed on a wide range of platforms. It features a tandem shaped charge warhead to defeat ERA-protected armored vehicles, and a High Explosive (HE) warhead to defeat small vessels, fortifications, helicopters and light armored vehicles. Its guidance system consists of Semi Automatic Command to Line-Of-Sight (SACLOS) via radiofrequency immune to IR and electronic jam.

The Ataka anti-tank missile can be fired from attack helicopters, ground vehicles and small ships. It features enhanced lethality over its predecessors.
