Description:
The Mectron MSS 1.2 (MSS 1) is a lightweight, man-portable anti-tank weapon system designed to be carried by a single man while effectively destroying armored targets at medium range distances. In addition, MSS was designed to be deployed easily and quickly by infantrymen.
The MSS 1.2 anti-tank missile uses semi-active laser beam riding guidance system and a shaped charge warhead to defeat the most advanced armored vehicles. The missile engine has two stages and employs solid propellant. The aerodynamic configuration includes canards at mid-body and vertical planes at the tail both following the cruciform pattern.
