Description: Hsiung Feng II is a medium-range, high subsonic, sea-skimming anti-ship missile developed in Taiwan and deployed onboard Kang Ding frigates which are a version of French Navy's La Fayette frigates. Hsiung Feng II performance is similar to US Harpoon and is the follow-on to Hsiung Feng I missile. In addition to Kang Ding-class frigates, this missile was deployed on Perry-class frigates and fast attack missile craft owned by Taiwan. It is said that Taiwan's Ching Kuo fighter is also capable of firing Hsiung Feng II missiles.
