Description: The Milas is an all-weather, long range, anti-submarine weapon system providing to surface ships with a defensive range greater than current submarine's offensive weapons range. The Milas missile carries a MU90 lightweight torpedo which is released with high precision within the threaten submarine area up to 35 km away from the surface ship. The Milas is the European counterpart to the ASROC.

The target information is download to the Milas from the ship's sensors. Once launched the Milas can receive updated information of the target from the ship's sensors to correct its trajectory achieving a better performance. The Milas system can also accommodate the A244S and Mark 46 torpedoes as well as the MU90.

The Milas missile is a derivative of the proven Otomat anti-ship missile.
