Tire run flat capability and Central inflation system are supplied as standard equipment. The engine is located at the right front of the vehicle, allowing a high internal volume with the personnel keeping eye contact continuously among each other. In amphibious mode is powered by two hydraulically driven propellers. Otokar started the development of the ARMA wheeled combat vehicle family in 2007 and displayed the ARMA 6x6 vehicle at the Eurosatory exhibition in June 2010.

The ARMA 6x6 is a 18-ton class wheeled combat vehicle that can be airlifted by C-130-sized aircraft. Its crew consists of a driver, a commander and up to eight fully equipped infantrymen. The front two axles are steerable enabling it to make a turning radius of 7.8 m and the vehicle rides on independent hydro-pneumatic suspension, offering respectable off-road mobility and comfort.
