Description: The 45-ton BREM-1M is a heavy armored recovery vehicle developed by UralVagonZavod on the basis of the T-90 tank chassis. The vehicle's standard equipment includes a dozer blade, a crane with a load carrying ability of 20 tons and semi-rigid towing attachment with bars with inner amortization for towing vehicles of up to 50 tons. The towing winch features a cable of 200 meters and a towing power between 35 to 140 tons. The crane can lift payloads at a maximum altitude of 6 meters above ground. The BREM-1M is powered by a Four-stroke poly-diesel engine V-92S2 with liquid cooling and turbo-charging from supercharger developing 1,000-hp. The vehicle can cross ranges of 700 kilometers on paved roads, 460-650 kilometers cross country or only 150-430 kilometers towing a heavy tank such as T-72 or T-90. A 12.7mm 6P50 machine gun has been provided for self-defense against airborne and ground threats. The BREM-1M entered service with the Russian Army in the 2000s.
