Description: The PL-01 Anders is a medium tank being developed by OBRUM of Poland and BAE Systems based on the CV90120 armored vehicle. The PL-01 Anders has been designed to meet the requirements of the Polish Army as replacement for 800-to-900 main battle tanks including the Leopard 2 and T-72 tanks. The tank features a three-man crew and a rear compartment for 4 infantrymen. It may be armed with a 120mm gun and is equipped with advanced composite armor. The 35-ton class Anders can be considered as fourth generation tank and may enter into service by 2020 with serial production slated to begin in 2018.
