Description: The PTS-4 is an amphibious, light armored, landing vehicle designed to carry manpower, equipment and light armored vehicles to enemy shore developed by KBTM for the Russian Navy. The vehicle features a tracked chassis equipped with two water jets and a lading ramp at the rear side. The armored cab provides protection against small arms fire along with a 12.7mm remotely operated weapon station. This craft is an evolution of the basic 22-ton PTS vessel introduced by the Soviet Union's Navy in the 1960s. The PTS is intended to carry up to 10 tons of cargo or 70 infantrymen over ranges of 300 kilometers. The PTS-4 floating transporter was unveiled at the Russian Arms Expo (RAE) in September 2013.
