Description: The Soratnik, Comrade in English, is an unmanned robotic vehicle developed by the Kalashnikov Concern to serve as combat vehicle. The Soratnik uses a tracked chassis equipped with a computerized control system, a sensor package intended for detection and surveillance as well as weapons mounts. The weapon system includes a 12.7mm and a 7.62mm machine guns along with AG-17A 30mm grenade launcher. Besides, the Soratnik may be equipped in the near future with eight Kornet-EM anti-tank missiles. It can be operated remotely within a distance of six to seven miles (9-10 kilometers) from the human operator. The vehicle has been designed to operate in conjunction with other unmanned systems. The Soranik was introduced at Army exhibition in Russia September 2016. It was successfully tested during military operations in Syria in 2016.
