Description: The Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS) is a 155mm 52-caliber towed gun system being developed by Tata Power and the Kalyani Group for the Indian Army. The ATAGS has a maximum range of 28 miles and delivers outstanding accuracy over existing towed guns within the Indian Armed Forces. The Indian Army has a requirement for up to 1,500 towed guns. As of early 2017, two ATAGS prototypes existed and were being tested by India.
