Description: The US Army Strategic Long-Range Cannon (SLRC) initiative is aimed at delivering a large caliber artillery system capable of hitting targets at distances of 1,800 kilometers. The massive SLRC is expected to be towed by a heavy tractor utilizing a huger wheeled trailer. The US Army expects to test the first SLRC prototype in 2023 achieving initial operational capability by 2030.
