Description: Strela-10, SA-13 Gopher Western designation, is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed to counter airborne threats at short ranges and low altitudes. It is based on MTLB tracked chassis and was introduced in the 1970s. Strela-10 was designed to protect armored units on-the-move. Equipped with a passive detection radar at the rear sector and four 9M37 ready-to-fire missiles, Strela-10 is capable of shooting down fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft at ranges of 5,000 meters.
