Description:
The Ashoura, which means "tenth day" in Farsi, is a ballistic missile developed in Iran with an estimated maximum range of 2,000 kilometers. Ashoura existence was confirmed by the Iranian government in late November 2007. It is said that Ashoura development has benefited from Chinese and Russian technical assistance.
