Description: AGM-62 Walleye is a TV-guided smart bomb utilized against fixed position targets such as fuel tanks, bridges and facilities. It was originally developed for the US Navy but lately the US Air Force also procured Walleye bombs. It was extensively used during the war in Vietnam and the Gulf War of 1991 by A-7, F/A-18 and F-111 aircraft. The Walleye bomb was replaced by new far more capable smart munitions such as the AGM-154 JSOW.
