Description: The Adam A700, formerly known as A700 AdamJet, is a light twin-turbofan business jet designed to carry two pilots and five passengers over ranges of up to 1,100 nautical miles (2,000 kilometers). Adam Aircraft launched the A700 project in 2002 with the first prototype performing its maiden flight in July 2003. The first production aircraft took to the air on February 6, 2006. FAA aircraft type certification and first customer deliveries are anticipated in 2008 with EASA certification expected sooner thereafter to enable European operations.

The Adam A700 jet is powered by two pylon-mounted Williams International FJ33-4A turbofan engines on the aft fuselage. Each engine develops 1,350 pounds of thrust at takeoff. The FJ33-4A engine has a mid-life inspection at 1,750 hours and overhaul at 3,500 flight hours. The aircraft features a top speed of 0.7 Mach and a maximum range of 1,400 nautical miles (2,500 km) with fuel reserves. The Adam A700 outstands by its aerodynamic configuration combining blended high horizontal tail with tailless carbon fiber composite materials fuselage.
