The high-strength, state-of-the-art all-composite fuselage will allow a comfortable and spacious cabin for up to six passengers. Williams International will provide two FJ44-3AP turbofan engines developing more than 6,000-lb of combined thrust. In addition to the new engine contribution, the longer range will be achieved adding new elliptical shaped winglets which enhance the jet's aerodynamic performance. The Premier II light business jet was announced in May 2008. The maiden flight is expected by April 2009, FAA certification would be in the second quarter of 2010 followed by EASA certification in the fourth quarter of the same year.
