Description: The Learjet NXT is a business jet positioned between the midsize and super midsize segments announced October 2007 as the next generation of Learjet jet aircraft family. According to Bombardier Aerospace, the jet will carry up to eight passengers in a large and very comfortable cabin over ranges of up to 3,000 nautical miles (5,500+ km) and cruising at Mach 0.82. Bombardier expects to unveil the Learjet NXT in October 2008. In January 2008, Bombardier announced that the newest mid-size Learjet business aircraft was re-named the Learjet 85. Bombardier also announced the selection of Grob Aerospace to develop the aircraft's all-composite structure.
