Description: The Burevestnik 2B11 is a 120mm smoothbore mortar system equipped with a base plate and intended to take out personnel and equipment at ranges between 480 to 7,100 meters. The base plate allows to switch easily from one firing position to another while making faster to re-located the mortar gun from 20 minutes with traditional mortars to only 1.5-2 minutes on the 2B11. The mortar maximum rate of fire is 15 rounds per minute with gun's coverage in elevation going from 45- to 80-degree. The 2B11 mortar system weighs 210 kg and is operated by a crew of five dismounted soldiers.
