Description: The Bofors 40mm Mk 3 L70 naval gun has been designed for use against air and surface threats such as aircraft, anti-ship missiles, fast boats and helicopters. It is a digitized computer controlled gun constructed of non-magnetic materials to reduce weight and magnetic signature. Its magazine has a capacity for 101 detonation-programmable rounds, enough for 10 engagements.

The 40mm Mk 3 gun turret has been installed on small and large ships worldwide.
