Description: The AK-176MA is a rapid fire, automatic, high precision 76mm naval gun system intended to equip the Russian Navy small ships and boats. The gun system comprises an all-weather electro-optical targeting system responsible for delivering outstanding accuracy. The AK-176MA is intended to engage both surface and airborne targets and is expected to surpass the OTO Melara 76mm Super Rapid gun system employed by NATO warships. As of September 2016, the AK-176MA was being tested onboard the lead ship of Project 22100 patrol vessel.
