Description: The AK-306 is a ship-based close-in weapon system capable of engaging surface and airborne targets, floating mines, light armored targets and manpower on-shore. The AK-306 comprises the 30mm six-barrel GSh-6-30L automatic anti-aircraft cannon and a 500 rounds magazine. The weapon system has a maximum range of 5,000 meters against surface targets and 4,000 meters against airborne targets. The AK-306 is lighter than AK-360 gun system. The AK-306 is suitable for missile boats and auxiliary ships. In addition to the GSh-6-30L (OA-18L) cannon, the AK-306 can be equipped with four Hermes-K anti-ship/anti-armor missiles. The AK-306 has been designed as the replacement for the AK-230 gun mount on small displacement ships.
