Description: The Kalashnikov AK-400 is a flexible assault rifle specially designed for the Russian Army Special Operations and Elite Forces, Russian Presidential Security Service and the FSB. The new rifle can be equipped with scope of any type, flashlight or laser target marker thanks to Picatinny rails. The AK-400 surpasses the AK-47 and AK-21 assault rifles in terms of operational accuracy while being lighter and more compact. The rifle is provided with telescoping stock and is available for both 7.62mm and 5.45mm ammunition. With a length of 940mm and a weight of three kilograms features a new firing mode which allows firing three bullets at one pull-off. The AK-400 was introduced in late 2015 and is expected to enter service beginning 2017.
