Description: The Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) FLW is a family of low weight remote controlled weapon station designed for installation on a wide variety of armored vehicles ranging from the Dingo all protected vehicle to the Boxer wheeled armored personnel carrier. These weapon station stations can be equipped with either machine guns (7.62mm or 12.7mm) or automatic grenade launchers (AGLs). Its gyro stabilization system allows very accurate and controlled weapon firing, even while moving through rough terrain at high speed.

The FLW 500 is a remote weapon station equipped with a 30mm automatic cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun as secondary armament and several 76mm multi-tube launchers as tertiary armament. Optionally, the FLW 500 weapon station can be equipped with guided missiles. Weighing approximately 500kg this new weapon station can be integrated on a variety of light protected vehicles. The FLW 500 was unveiled at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris on June 14, 2016.
