Description: The Falcon is an unmanned tank turret designed by KADDB for the modernization of existing main battle tanks (MBTs) which may be equipped with 105mm or 120mm guns. The turret mounts the RUAG Defense Systems 120 mm smooth bore L50 compact tank gun with autoloader capable of firing all types of NATO standard ammunition. KADDB is providing the Falcon turret with the latest generation of daylight and infrared cameras and fire control system. The 120mm gun can fire up to eight rounds per minute and three rounds in 10 seconds in burst mode with 17 rounds ready-to-fire in the autoloader. An additional 17 rounds can be stowed below the turret ring.

The turret's low volume and low silhouette are meant for high survivability reducing the target's cross section. Besides, it is operated under armor below the turret ring. Remote weapon stations, modular add-on armor, laser illumination warner and additional sensor packages are available for integration on the Falcon turret enhancing even more the tank's survivability. The commander and gunner feature two independent thermal sights allowing for hunter-killer capability similar to the M1A2 Abrams. As of mid-2008, the Falcon turret is still under development with some of its key technologies, such as the 120mm gun, being involved in the Jordan Armed Forces Challenger 1 MBT modernization program.
