Description: The Granat-5 is an unmanned tiltrotor aircraft developed by Izhmash Unmanned Systems to meet the requirements of the Russian Navy. The Granat-5 features vertical takeoff and landing. The seven-kilogram mini-Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) is intended to provide intelligence to special operations forces before going into hostile shores operating from surface ships. Granat-1 to Granat-4 are in service with the Russian Armed Forces. First test flight of Granat-5 is expected by the end of 2015.
