Description: The Sagem JIM is a family of lightweight, self-powered, handheld, multifunction infrared binoculars designed for military customers. Sagem along with its subsidiary Vectronix are responsible for the development and manufacturing of these imagers. So far, more than 4,000 JIMs have been ordered by the French Ministry of Defense in support of the Felin land warrior program.

The JIM MR is a medium range, uncooled, multifunction binoculars intended for infantry squad leaders and security applications. It includes a night vision third-generation thermal imager, digital magnetic compass, and laser range finder. Powered by rechargeable batteries has an endurance of 3 hours and operates at temperatures between -32 and +55 Celsius. The French Army has ordered 3,000 JIM MRs under future soldier program Felin.
