Description: The Jordan Falcon is a small tactical unmanned air vehicle (UAV) designed by KADDB to provide real time day and night reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition at ranges of up to 50 km. With a composite material airframe and a high wing design, the Jordan Falcon can take off from runways and poor prepared surfaces. In addition, the UAV can be released from launch ramps or catapult mounted on tactical vehicles. Recovery is done through a parachute.

The Jordan Falcon UAV is powered by a single 200cc gas/oil mix engine. It is equipped with an autonomous GPS-based navigation system, tactical datalink with a maximum range of 50 km, and either a daylight CCD-TV camera or an infrared imager. Besides, the air vehicle can be fitted with communication jammer, communications relay packages or special payloads. The UAV system can be ready for launch in 30 minutes requiring a ground crew of 3-4 person: a UAV pilot, a payload operator, a mechanical and electrical engineer.
