Description: The combat-proven M242 Bushmaster 25mm cannon featuring dual feed chain gun technology. It is the main gun of the M2, M3 and LAV-25 ground vehicles and the US Navy patrol boats (Mk38 designation). It fires all NATO standard 25 mm ammunition. More than 15,000 M242 Bushmaster cannons have been delivered to customers worldwide totaling 20 allied countries and the United States of America. Up to 25 armored vehicles types are equipped with variants of the M242 cannon. The 25mm M792 round is the primary medium-caliber round fired from the M242 Bushmaster Chain Gun by US forces.
