Description: The M60 is a 7.62x51mm general purpose medium machine gun introduced in 1957 by the United States of America Armed Forces. The machine gun was widely adopted for law enforcement and military usage by many US allies across the world since then. The M60 machine gun can be deployed by dismounted infantryman, mounted on ground vehicles and rotary-wing aircraft to engage manpower and soft/unprotected military equipment. It can deliver a maximum rate of fire of 650 rounds per minute reaching targets at a distance of up to 1,100 meters. The M60 machine gun was developed by Saco Defense now owned by General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems.
