Description: The OTO Melara Modular Advanced Remotely controlled LIghtweight Naval Weapon Station (MARLIN - WS) is an advanced weapon system designed to meet the requirements of naval warfare fitted with either a 25mm or a 30mm gun. The MARLIN weapon station has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the ships' fire control system or function autonomously with its own electro-optical sensors. Additionally, the weapon station can be provided with ballistic computer, night vision, laser rangefinder and target tracker. The MARLIN is suitable for operations in blue water and littoral environments against multiple fast moving threats such as fast attack missile boats. Besides, the weapon station can be fitted with point defense missile launchers gaining a greater firepower.
